During the Dusseldorf boat show it was proposed by several Scandinavian Cruisers distributors that we offer a synthetic teak deck option for the Scandinavian Cruiser 20 (and future SC models including the brand new Scandinavian Dory 18).

The boat building team at David Winter’s Red Dragon Yachts is making rapid progress on the deck plug. This week we mounted all the Harken, RWO, Whale and Tacktick deck hardware to verify the ergonomics, the nonskid areas, and the location of the hardware reinforcements.
We are also happy to report that several international yachting magazines already have, or soon will, publish articles about the SC 20, and some of them have confirmed their intentions to conduct sailing tests when the first boats are ready later this year.
