As you may have seen in earlier pictures on this blog, I keep my SC20 in the local marina in Croton, NY. To prevent any damage from the boat chafing against the fenders or the dock, I recently installed these mooring whips from TaylorMade. I bought them here for a little over $200. They are the lightest model (8ft) for boats up to 20ft and 2500lbs and very easy to install. I have had them installed for about a week now and I'm very pleased. They keep the Scandinavian Cruiser 20 free from the dock and still allow her to move a little.

I just wanted to share this with you. If you keep your SC in a marina as well, this is an effective and affordable solution to keep your SC20 safe and secure.
